The city of Lexington, Kentucky held elections for city council on November 4, 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. LeTonia A. Jones and Fred V. Brown advanced past Dave Vinson and Amy Beasley in the District 8 primary.[2][3] Brown defeated Jones in the general election.[4]
