Gerald M. Prill is the judge for the 52nd Circuit Court in Michigan. He was elected to the court on November 4, 2014, for a six-year term commencing on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2020.[1] [2]

Primary: He was successful in the primary on August 5, 2014, receiving 42.8 percent of the vote. He competed against Timothy J. Rutkowski and Jill L. Schmidt.
General: He defeated Timothy J. Rutkowski in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 54 percent of the vote. [1][3]

Prill received his bachelor's degree in social science from Michigan State University in 1991 and his J.D. degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1995.[4]
