Gerald York was a Democratic candidate for District 26 of the Maine State Senate. The primary election was on June 8, 2010 and the general election was on November 2, 2010.

York was defeated by Republican candidate Rodney Whittemore in the November 2 general election. Republican incumbent Peter Mills did not run for re-election.[1]
In the June 8th primary election, York ran unopposed.[2]
