An effort to recall Alderman Greg Rose in Clintonville, Wisconsin from his position was launched in July 2014. Rose was successfully recalled.[1]

Supporting arguments
William VanDaalwyk led the recall effort. He targeted Rose for allegedly taking actions that were hostile to business and industry in the city.[1]

Petitioners needed to collect 56 signatures and turned in 87. City Clerk Peggy Johnson issued a certification of sufficiency on September 22, which the Common Council voted 4-2 on September 30 to reject. The state's Government Accountability Board urged the council to approve the recall, so it did on October 7.[1]
