Education
Aston received both her bachelor's degree in social work and master's degree in chid development and care from the University of Pittsburgh in 1986 and 1989, respectively. She earned her J.D. from Duquesne University.[2]
Career
Aston has been a hearing officer in matters of custody and family support for five years. She has also worked as an attorney and has taught at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg and the Community College of Allegheny County. While attending law school, she worked at the Community College of Allegheny County, North Campus Child Development Center.[2]
