Indiana Lotteries, Proposition 1 (1988)

The Indiana Lotteries, Proposition 1, also known as Proposition 1, was on the ballot in Indiana on November 8, 1988, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The proposition proposed one amendment to the constitution: Article 15, Section 8. The amendment would remove the language from the constitution that prohibits lotteries.[1]
