James D. Egan

James Egan was a judge of the Cook Circuit of Illinois. He was appointed to this position in 1995 after having served as an associate judge since 1989. He retired in late 2012.[1][2][3]
Education
Egan is a graduate of the John Marshall Law School.[1]
Career
Egan worked as an Assistant Public Defender and Assistant State's Attorney in Cook County prior to becoming a judge.[1]
2012 election
Egan was retained in the general election on Nov. 6, 2012, but due to his retirement, it will not apply.[4][5][6]
