Joseph M. Quirk is an associate judge on the Sixth Circuit Court for Montgomery County in Maryland. He was appointed to the court by Governor Martin O'Malley to fill a newly created seat.[1][2] Quirk assumed office on March 19, 2010 and was re-elected to the court on November 2, 2010 to a full fifteen-year term, ending in 2025.[3][4]

Quirk received his undergraduate degree from the Catholic University of America in 1970 and his J.D. from the Columbus School of Law, Catholic University of America in 1973.[5]

2010 election
Quirk was re-elected to the Sixth Circuit Court, along with six other judges, in the general election on November 2, 2010. He received 16.08% of the vote.[3][6]
