Julie Harris Nelson
Julie Harris Nelson (also known as Judge Julie) is a judge of the Miami-Dade County Court in Florida. Her current term ends on January 2, 2029.
Nelson won re-election for judge of the Miami-Dade County Court in Florida outright in the general election on November 8, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.
Education
Nelson received a B.A. from University of Michigan, and a J.D. from the St. Thomas University School of Law.[1]
Career
Before becoming a judge, Nelson practiced law as a partner at ROIG Lawyers. She also worked as an assistant state attorney in Miami-Dade County.[1]
