I am a Christian, husband, son, and father. I have been married to Donna for thirty years, and we have two adult children and one grandson. I'm a former oil and gas service company chief executive officer. I started my law enforcement career in 2010 working for Sheriff Randall Edwards.

I'm a believer in the Constitution and stand for American rights. I believe we need to take better care of our veterans. Faith, Family, and Freedom is more than just a catchphrase to me. I stand for everyone and will fight against government overreach.

I know what it is like to have to make payroll. Also, I have not worked for government agencies all my adult life. I have had failures in my life but recovered from those difficult situations. This helped me to make better decisions but also understand it's not the end. I am an experienced leader who leads by example and not force or scare tactics.
  • Engage with community as a Working Sheriff
  • Make Transparency a priority in the Agency. We also must Prioritize Public Safety.
  • Improve Jail Management and Foster Citizen Engagement in the hiring practices to reduce the high turnover rate.
Public Safety is a high priority as well as taking a stand against corruption in agencies.
My Grandfather, the Late Eli Mize. He taught me that the greatest thing we have to give is our time. That is more valuable than anything on earth.
"THE ULTIMATE MEASURE OF A MAN IS NOT WHERE HE STANDS IN MOMENTS OF CONVENIENCE AND COMFORT, BUT WHERE HE STANDS AT TIMES OF CHALLENGE AND CONTROVERSY." - MLK
God has prepared me for this road ahead. I have proven myself to be a great leader that develops relationships. I also encourage growth in one's life and career path.
Public Safety and Transparency in all aspects of what the office does. The Sheriff should be available to the people at all times. The citizens in the county are the top priority.
My legacy should be one of giving but also taking care of others.
The Edmond Post Office massacre occurred when I was across the street mowing the VFW post.
Sonic Drive-in as a cook was my first real commercial job. Before that, I did mow lawns and worked for farmers and ranchers in my town. I worked for Sonic from the age of fifteen until I graduated High School at eighteen.
Bible
It is multiple books put into one but it tells you how to live life.
I BELIEVE IN BEING 100% TRANSPARENT AND HOLDING EVERYONE ACCOUNTABLE IN GOVERNMENT.
