|- I aim to promote academic achievement and equity by closing achievement gaps, ensuring that all students—regardless of background or ability—have access to high-quality education. Wauwatosa should prioritize raising overall student achievement while ensuring every student develops strong foundational skills. This can be accomplished by strengthening core subjects, leveraging data to address students' specific needs, and setting high expectations for all. Refocusing on academic achievement will better prepare students for success in the workforce and post-secondary education.
- Our district’s financial decisions have lacked transparency and accountability, creating significant challenges that demand immediate attention. In Wauwatosa we value education and we are willing to put our hard earned dollars towards the children as shown by the recent referendum. This is an investment that deserves better stewardship than we have seen in the past. As your School Board representative, I will push for financial accountability, transparency, and sustainable budgeting practices that respect taxpayers and prioritize our students’ education and our teachers in our classrooms.
- I would like to increase resident enrollment. Wauwatosa’s schools should be the first choice for families in our community. To achieve this, I will:
- Increase stakeholder value in our district by improving academic performance, transparency, and communication with residents.
- Focus on attracting students back to public education by ensuring our schools are safe, high-performing, and responsive to families’ needs.
