LeVonda G. Wood
LeVonda G. Wood was a 2014 candidate for the 11th Judicial District of North Carolina.[1] She previously ran for a seat on this court in 2012.[2]

General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 47.2 percent of the vote. She competed against Joy A. Jones.

Judicial performance evaluation
In July 2014, the North Carolina Bar Association released the results of a survey in which it asked lawyers to rate the judicial candidates for the trial courts. The candidates were rated from one to five on five different criteria as well as on their overall performance.[3]

2012
Wood ran for election to the 11th Judicial District. She was defeated by incumbent Judge R. Dale Stubbs, receiving 48.06% of the vote.[4][2]
