The Massachusetts Repeal of Sales Tax on Computer Technology Initiative will not appear on the November 4, 2014 ballot in Massachusetts as an initiated state statute. The measure would have eliminated the state sales and use taxes on computer design services.[1]

Petitioners did not turn in signatures to the Office of the Secretary of State by November 20, thus eliminating the measure's chances of appearing on the ballot in 2014.[2]

Supporters submitted the initiative measure signed by ten eligible voters to the Office of the Attorney General, who then certified the measure for circulation. Following, supporters had until November 20, 2013 to obtain and submit 68,911 signatures. Petitioners failed to turn in signatures to the Office of the Secretary of State by the deadline.[2]
