Melissa Cupp
Melissa Cupp is a judge of the 20th Judicial District's Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court in Virginia. She was appointed by the Virginia General Assembly in February 2017, and she took office on July 1, 2017.[1]
Biography
Cupp earned her bachelor's degree from Frostburg State University and her J.D. from Tulsa College of Law.[1]
At the time of her appointment to the bench, Cupp was affiliated with the firm Vanderpool, Frostick & Nishanian. Her professional experience also includes work as a partner in the firm Baumgardner, Brown & Cupp. She has specialized in social services law, including foster care, abuse and neglect, and guardianship cases.[1]
