Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on March 18, 2014, receiving 35.3 percent of the vote. He competed against Kevin C. Kakac, David E. Harrison, John C. Robison, Jr. and David M. Williams.
General: He was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014. [1][2][3]

The Illinois State Bar Association and participating attorneys rated Michael J. Molt as Recommended for election in a 2014 poll.[4]

Education

Molt received a B.S. from the University of Illinois and a J.D. from the University of Mississippi.[5]
