Michael K. Moran is a circuit court judge for the Marathon County Circuit Court in Marathon County, Wisconsin.[1] He was appointed by Governor Scott Walker on July 18, 2011.[2] Moran was elected to the position in 2011.[3][4]
Moran won re-election without opposition in the general election on April 4, 2017.
Education
Moran earned his B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1988 and his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1991.[3][2]

Elections
2017
Wisconsin held local judicial elections in 2017. Forty-eight circuit court seats were up for election on April 4, 2017. Three seats required primaries on February 21, 2017, with the top two vote recipients for each seat advancing to the April 4 general election. Thirty-seven seats up for election in 2017 were unopposed.[5] Incumbent Michael K. Moran ran unopposed in the general election for the Branch 5 seat on the Marathon County Circuit Court.
