Michael M. Rand
Michael M. Rand is a former district court judge for the 10th Judicial District's Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court in Virginia.[1] He served as a judge from July 31, 1993 until his retirement from the court on February 1, 2012.[2][3]
Education
Rand received his undergraduate degree from the United States Naval Academy and his J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law.[4]
Career
Before he became a judge, Rand was a partner at his firm of Bennett & Rand in Halifax, Virginia. He also previously practiced law with the firm of Slayton, Bennett & Rand in Boston, Massachusetts.[3]
