Michael Trushenski is a judge of the Fifth Judicial District in Minnesota. He was appointed by Governor Mark Dayton (D) on November 25, 2015. He filled the vacancy created by the retirement of Robert D. Walker.[1]

Education

Trushenski received a bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and a J.D. from the University of South Dakota School of Law.[1]

Career

Prior to joining the court, Trushenski was an assistant Martin County attorney and an associate attorney at Viesselman & Barke, P.A. He practiced family, bankruptcy, personal injury and probate law. He previously served as a law clerk at the First Judicial District.[1]
