The Multi-State Reciprocity Agreement is an interstate compact among Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. This compact allows vehicles that are used specifically for interstate travel (charter buses, special travel or fixed schedule driving) to operate in any of the member jurisdictions without paying additional registration fees.[1]

Text of the compact

The legislature of each member state passes the laws with certain modifications, but the core of the legislation remains the same.[2]
