New York Executive Budget, Amendment 2 (1965)

The New York Executive Budget, Amendment 2, also known as Proposed Amendment No. 2, was on the ballot in New York on November 2, 1965, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure amended Article 7, Section 2 of the Constitution. It required the "the governor to submit to the legislature the executive budget by February 1 in each year following the year fixed by the Constitution for the election of the governor and lieutenant governor, and by the second Tuesday following the first day of the annual meeting of the legislature in other years."[1]
