North Dakota Congress Term Limits, Measure 5 (1992)
The North Dakota Congressional Term Limits Initiative, also known as Measure 5, was on the November 3, 1992 ballot in North Dakota as an initiated state statute, where it was approved.[1][2] The measure prohibited persons who, at the start of term being elected for, had served for at least 12 years in the United States Senate or United States House of Representatives or in any combination of those offices from running for either office.[3]
