Richard J. Dunn was an at-large representative on the Old Bridge Township Board of Education in New Jersey. He was first elected to the board in 2011. He lost his bid for re-election in the general election on November 4, 2014.

Dunn earned a B.A. in secondary education from the City University of New York in 1994. He later earned a two-year certificate in property and construction management from New York University's School of Continuing Education. He began his current employment as the vice president of operations at Paramount Assets, LLC, in 2006. He is also a line officer captain in the South Old Bridge Volunteer Fire Company.[1]

Three seats on the Old Bridge Township Board of Education were up for election on November 4, 2014. Three incumbent members, Donna Andriani, Richard J. Dunn and Frank Weber, ran for re-election. They faced challengers Kelly Ellis-Foster, George S. Gough and Ramon A. Paulino.[2]
