Rick Ruble is a former Indiana Commissioner of Labor. He served in the position from 2013 to 2020. Ruble first assumed office in September 2013 following Sean Keefer's resignation and was serving as Deputy Commissioner and General Counsel with the Department of Labor at the time.[1][2] He resigned from office on July 24, 2020.[3]

Prior to attending law school, Ruble with the Research and Statistics division of the state Department of Labor for ten years. He was then in private practice until rejoining the DOL as Deputy Commissioner and General Counsel in February 2007.[4]
