Tammy Magourik
Tammy Magourik was a candidate for the District 6 seat on the Bradley County Board of Education in Tennessee. The general election was held on August 7, 2014.
Biography
Magouirk has taught at Cleveland Middle School for nine years. She earned her associate’s degree from Cleveland State, bachelor’s degree from Lee University, master’s degree in administration and supervision from Lincoln Memorial University and is completing her Ed.D. in education from Liberty University. Magourik is active in a number of community organizations, including the Post Office Food Drive, the Winter Coat Drive, a church youth group, Backyard Ministries tutoring, the Association for Middle Level Education, the Cleveland Education Association, the Tennessee Education Association, the National Education Association and the Tennessee Foster Care Association. She is married to Jim Floyd and has two daughters, two stepchildren and five grandchildren.[1]

In the August 7, 2014 general election, incumbent Vicki Beaty ran unopposed in District 2. Incumbent Troy Weathers ran against Dianna Ball Calfee in District 4. Challengers Christine Critchfield and Tammy A. Magourik faced off in District 6.
