Theresa L. Ursin was a resident judge of the Fifteenth Circuit Court in Freeport, Illinois.[1] She was elected to the court in 2004 and retired on August 31, 2014.[2][3]
Education
Ursin earned an undergraduate degree the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1978. She went on to receive her J.D. degree from Northern Illinois University in 1982.[4][2]
Career

- 1999-2004: Associate judge, Illinois Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Court (Appointed) [2]
Prior to her judicial appointment in 1999, Ursin served as an assistant state's attorney in Stephenson County for over twelve years. She also previously served as legal counsel to the Stephenson County Board for seven years.[4]
