Walsh served in the United States Navy from 1986 to 1988, and in the Navy Reserves from 1988 to 2008.[2]
Education
Walsh received his undergraduate degree from The College of the Holy Cross in 1986 and his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1991.[2]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Walsh was a deputy district attorney for the San Diego District Attorney's Office for twelve years. He also served as an adjunct professor at the University of San Diego School of Law.[2]
