West Virginia Amendment 2 was on the November 5, 1996, election ballot in West Virginia as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved.
According to the National Conference on State Legislatures, Amendment 2 "requires that a portion of license plate registration revenues be used for non-game wildlife resources."[1]
