William "Bill" H. Myers was a judge on the Mississippi Court of Appeals (District 5, Position 1). He took office in June of 2000. He retired on December 31, 2011.[1][2]
Education
Judge Myers graduated from Mississippi State University and then earned his J.D. degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law. He served in the Army from 1964 to 1966. He is married and the father of three children.[3]
Career
Judge Myers was an attorney in Pascagoula for 23 years in association with Rex Gordon before becoming a judge. He has also served as the Chancellor for the 16th Chancery Court District since 1992.[3]
2010 election
Myers was re-elected after running unopposed.[4]
