Two Park Ridge Police Station advisory ballot propositions were on the April 7, 2009 ballot in Cook County for voters in the City of Park Ridge.[1][2]
The first, asking if a new police station should be built at a cost of $16.5 million (with unknown costs for interest, operating expenses and the purchase of land), was defeated with 83% of votes against it. The second, which added detail to the financing and purchasing plans, was also defeated with rejection from 53% of voters.[3]
