The Connecticut Council on Probate Judicial Conduct is a judicial disciplinary agency in Connecticut that oversees judicial conduct of judges of the state probate court.[1]

Note: State judicial disciplinary agencies do not have appellate jurisdiction or authority over federal court judges and justices.

Organization

The council is made up of five members: one probate judge, one retired state referee, one attorney and two members of the public. The probate judge is elected by the other probate judges, the retired state referee is appointed by the chief justice, and the other three members are appointed by the governor.[2]
