Greece Central School District is located in western New York in Monroe County. The county seat is Rochester, New York. Monroe County was home to 749,600 residents in 2015, according to the United States Census Bureau.[4] The district was the 10th-largest school district in the state in the 2013–2014 school year and served 11,434 students.[5]

Monroe County outperformed the state of New York as a whole in terms of higher education achievement in 2014.
