The election in South Bend featured three seats up for general election on November 4, 2014. Incumbent Stanley F. Wruble defeated challengers Gene Eggleston, Oletha L. Jones and Carolyn Joy Peterson for the District 2 seat. District 5 board member Michelle Engel overcame a challenge from Hope Sniadecki, who is the daughter of District 3 member William Sniadecki. Incumbent Jay Caponigro ran unopposed and won re-election to his District 1 seat.
