Rosanne Nathanson is a Second Judicial District judge for Ramsey County, Minnesota. She was appointed to this position by Gov. Ventura in November of 2001 and was sworn in on March 1, 2002. She was elected in 2004 to a full term that expires in January of 2017.[1]
Education
Nathanson received her B.A. degree from the University of Minnesota in 1968 and her J.D. degree from the Hamline University School of Law in 1980.[1]
Career
Prior to becoming a judge, Rosanne Nathanson worked as a private practice lawyer. She began her legal career in 1980 with the firm of Trawick and Smith and, in 1987, moved to Pepin, Dayton, Herman and Graham. One year later, she joined Leonard, Street and Deinard, where she worked until she joined the District Court in 2002.[1]
2010 election
Nathanson was re-elected after running unopposed.[2]
