Kenneth Wiezer was a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 12th Congressional District of Illinois. Wiezer was defeated by Brad Harriman in the Democratic primary on March 20, 2012.[1]

Biography

Wiezer's family has resided in southern Illinois for generations, including Mulkeytown, (Franklin County), Williamson County, and Simpson, Illinois.[2]

Wiezer ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Illinois' 12th District. Wiezer sought the nomination on the Democratic ticket.[3] The signature filing deadline was December 27, 2011, and the primary took place on March 20, 2012.

Wiezer and candidate Chris Miller were defeated by Brad Harriman in the Democratic primary on March 20, 2012.[1] In the Republican primary, Jason Plummer defeated candidates Rodger Cook and Theresa Kormos.[1]
