Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother that loves her family. I am an open book and love to share my culinary talents and have dinner party's and cook fAcebook live and teach people what I know.

Retired From Massage Therapy & Esthetics in 2018. Graduated last October from The Renewal of the Spirit as a ordained Minister. Developed a homeopathic/energetic skin care line called FooBellas. Twice published author, with the third getting ready for release. Filmed a Cameo role With my husband on homelessness in Las Vegas.

I am an Intuitive/ Psychic and have published my autobiography where I talked about acknowledging my gifts. .

I spent my life embedded in the gardens and studied plant medicine in conjunction with my Career path. Which lead me to see the healing benefits of cannabis.

I have dreams of one day seeing my ideas of All inclusive Cannabis Healing Retreats all around the United States utilizing massage, reiki and the spiritual arts to help people to heal, mind, body and soul.

• That I love people with all my heart and soul and my sincere desire is to see them aspire to anything they could possibly dream to become.
• That I am not afraid to rattle the cage and challenge the two party system.
• That I laid out my plans in a story to give people a window to see what the future can look like when they believe.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I am an advocate for the homeless and have a heart for protecting children from any type of abuse.

I have volunteered my time to raise funds for Family Promise during its conception in Delaware and used my talents in the kitchen to host the First Annual Benefit for Family Promise.

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

John Edward, the Psychic Medium. When I was young I was able to see things that other people could not see. When I tried to tell people it did not go over well. When John Edward had his first show "Crossing Over" I was thrilled that someone else was brave enough to talk about their gifts. I read most of his books. Then one day I started to write myself. I actually delivered a message to the Nephew of Barry White by writing and publishing it in my book with no knowledge that he had a nephew, I just said Antonio! I only found out he existed during a chance meeting when I was introduced to him by an acquaintance, Tyrone Gibson, (brother to Tyrese Gibson) in Las Vegas that I wrote into my book to lift His music career up.

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

You must have a love for all people and a willingness to want to see every man, woman and child reach their highest potential.

What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?

I am analytical and look at things from every angle before Moving forwards.

I develop plans for nearly every action in my life and execute my plans according to their time line.

I only deviate from my plans If an obstacle blocks me and at that point I rewrite my plans to go around the block.

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

To uphold the Constitution and Bill of Rights. To Govern the people in a way that raises all people to believe that they can obtain their dreams and prosper.

What legacy would you like to leave?

That I inspired people to believe in themselves. To trust the voice inside guiding their life and to push forward with your dreams no matter what the outside world thinks or says about you.

Know that you are loved by your creator and that the Universe wants to see you achieve the impossible. No matter how long it takes.

It's not about winning. It's about the Journey and those you meet along the path of life.

What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?

When the Space Shuttle blew up. I was home from school due to my molars being pulled. I was 16 years old.

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

I was 13 years old when I started babysitting and continued until I was 19 years old.

My first official job was A file clerk at Professional home health care agency and I did that job for 2 years.

What is your favorite book? Why?

The Secret, because it shows you how to unlock the secrets of how to obtain your dreams in life.

If you could be any fictional character, who would you want to be?

Snow White with wings

What was the last song that got stuck in your head?

Sting. Message in a bottle

What is something that has been a struggle in your life?

Understanding and accepting that my Gifts to see the future is the Gold inside me.

That even though our rights are equal in the constitution our internal gifts and intentions to do good in the world can be very hard to convey to those that are not able to see.

Conveying who I am to the world has been my biggest challenge. I used the arts of writing, poetry, film, painting and worked with spiritual coaches to come out of my shell. The last thing I did to concur my fear of running for office was walking over 8 feet of hot coals to beat my fears. Then I turned around and did it again for good measure.

A governor is the top executive authority in his or her state. What does that mean do you?

The Governor oversees all the branches of our governing body as well as our schools, businesses and agency's.

As I see the job of Governor it is to give guidance and make decisions on what is best for the interests of the people of the state of Delaware and the interests of the state as relation to revenues, Job growth and expansion.

Governors have many responsibilities, which vary from state to state. Which of those do you personally consider the most important in your state?

The Economy and good paying jobs is my biggest motivating factor and could explain why when I published my second book I tagged it "The Stimulus Package".

Bringing clean environmental friendly manufacturing Jobs to our state is foremost on my mind and is what I have spent the last year traveling across the country doing so that on day one I already had the infrastructure laid out to implement my plans

Different states require governors to have different degrees of responsibility for the state budgeting process. If it were your choice, what do you believe is the appropriate degree of gubernatorial involvement with this process in your state?

The Governor should be involved in the process as much as possible with the General Assembly.

A check and balance system is very important and pork projects should be scrutinized.

In most states, governors have the power to make line-item vetoes. If that is true in your state, what would be your philosophy for how and when to use this power?

Our state does not have line item veto. This is where I feel the Governor has an important part in the open communication when legislation is being drafted.

If the governor's office in your state does not have the line-item veto power, do you believe it should? Why or why not?

Yes I do believe it should. I believe some projects get things pushed in that have no barring on what the original project is for and to protect the integrity of the progress line item veto would be an excellent tool to keep things moving in the interest of the people.

What do you believe is the ideal relationship between the governor and state legislature?

I believe having an open honest relationship and working with the legislature to solve the issues of our state is imperative. It should not take years to work out issues and come to common sense solutions in a timely manner. Being an Independent and having an open mind to both Democrats and Republicans puts me in a unique position to listen to both sides of an issue and respond appropriately.

What do you love most about your state?

Ahh this is a tough one. I love our natural beauty and love that we have agricultural throughout each county.

By by and large it is our diverse climate of people. I've traveled all over the country and Delaware not only has a melting pot of people from around the world but they have brought their culinary culture with them giving our state a taste of the whole world within our borders.

Even though I love to travel and see other lands Delaware and her diversity gives one a unique ability to "have it all"

What do you perceive to be your state's greatest challenges over the next decade?

To clean up our environment. We have not been able to swim in our lakes for almost 30 years now. The last lake I swam in One was Trapp Pond in Laurel almost 30 years ago.

We need to encourage and entice companies that are committed to friendly earth practices to help us bring Delaware back to the environmentally safe state she once was.
