The Connecticut Judicial Review Council is a judicial disciplinary agency in Connecticut that oversees judicial conduct of justices of the state supreme court, judges of the appellate court, judges of the superior court, compensation commissioners and family support magistrates.[1]
Organization
The council is made up of 12 regular members and nine alternative members. The regular members include three judges of the superior court (excluding the supreme court), three attorneys licensed in the state, and six members of the public. The alternative members include one compensation commissioner, one family support magistrate, two judges of the superior court (excluding the supreme court), two attorneys and three members of the public.[1]
As of July 1, 2011, the Judicial Review Council is housed under the Office of Governmental Accountability.[2]
