Stanley L. Hill is an associate judge on the Cook Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois.[1] He was appointed to his current seat in 2011 by the Illinois Supreme Court.[2] He was reappointed in 2015 and 2019.[3][4]

Hill was previously appointed to the same court for a term effective December 15, 2010, that ended on December 3, 2012. He lost a bid for re-election to a full term in 2012.[5][6]

Education

Hill received his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in 1970 and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1973.[7]

Career

Prior serving as an associate judge on the Cook Judicial Circuit Court, Hill spent his legal career in private practice.[7]

Elections

2012

Hill ran for election to a full term on the Cook Judicial Circuit Court in 2012. He was defeated by Karen Lynn O'Malley in the Democratic primary on March 20, 2012, after receiving 38.8 percent of the vote.[8][9]
