The Maine-New Hampshire School District Compact is an interstate compact between Maine and New Hampshire. The compact authorizes the creation of interstate school districts and allowed the consolidation of elementary and secondary schools when appropriate. This compact requires congressional consent in order to be considered active, but it is not clear as of February 2021 if this compact has such consent.[1]
