Dr. Quintin Shepherd is the superintendent of the Pflugerville Independent School District. Shepherd was appointed superintendent on April 29, 2024. Shepherd's previous career experience includes serving as superintendent and in leadership roles in other districts.[1]
Past superintendents
- Douglas Killian was the superintendent of the Pflugerville Independent School District. Killian was appointed superintendent on July 1, 2017 and served until May 2024. Killian's previous career experience includes working as a first-grade teacher of the United Independent School District and as the superintendent of the Poteet Independent School District and the Huffman Independent School District.[2]
- Alex Elias Torrez was the superintendent of the Pflugerville Independent School District from 2013 to 2017. Torrez's previous career experience included working as the assistant superintendent for secondary education of the Clear Creek Independent School District.[3][4]
