Dr. Gerardo Cruz is the superintendent of the United Independent School District. He was appointed superintendent in August 2024. His previous career experience includes working as a teacher, principal, and assistant superintendent.[1][2]

Past superintendents

  • David Gonzalez was the superintendent of the United Independent School District. He was appointed superintendent in 2021 and served until 2024. Gonzalez's previous career experience includes serving as Associate Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction for the district.[3]
