Biography
Ross was born in Detroit, Michigan. She received a bachelor's degree in liberal arts, with a minor in political science, from Wayne State University. She also earned a master's degree in administration/instructional technology and education from Wayne State University and a Ph.D. in education from Ashford University. Ross taught adult education in the Detroit Public Schools after receiving her bachelor's degree, and then moved to childhood education upon receiving her master's degree in education.[1]
