All five seats on the York County School Division School Board were up for general election on November 3, 2015.[1]

District 3 incumbent Mark Medford and District 4 incumbent R. Page Minter each faced and defeated a single challenger. Both District 1 incumbent Barbara Haywood and District 2 incumbent Cindy Kirschke ran unopposed and won re-election to their seats.

The District 5 race between incumbent Robert George and challenger Sean Myatt was too close to call following the general election. George led by one vote in the unofficial results published after the election. Myatt requested a recount as state law allows for a recount if the winning and losing vote totals are within 1 percent of each other.[2] On December 1, 2015, a recount determined that George won the election by a one-vote margin.[3]
