Fred Lake
Fred Lake was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 19 of the Montana State Senate.
Lake runs his family's restaurant, the M&M Cafe in Sidney. A graduate of Montana State University, he joined the Air Force through the school's ROTC program, and achieved the rank of Captain. He earned his master's degree in telecommunications management from Webster University while working for Qwest.[1]

Lake told the publication Roundup that he seeks responsible growth, a "well-educated workforce," and usage of oil revenue on the building of infrastructure.[1]

Lake ran in the 2012 election for Montana State Senate, District 19. Lake ran unopposed in the June 5 primary election and was defeated by Matthew M. Rosendale, Sr. (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
