Richard H. Davidson is a district judge of Iowa District 4. He was appointed to this position in 2009. Davidson was retained to a full six-year term in the 2010 general election. He was retained in the general election on November 8, 2016.[1][2]

Biography

Davidson received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from Drake University in 1981 and 1984, respectively.[1]

Davidson began his career as a trial attorney for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. From 1986 to 1991, he worked for the law firm Wright and Talisman. He then went into practice with Bailey and Davidson (subsequently known as the Davidson Law Firm) in Clarinda. From 2001 until his appointment in 2009, Davidson served as Page County attorney.[1]
