Harvey Munford
Harvey J. Munford (Democratic Party) was a member of the Nevada State Assembly, representing District 6. He assumed office in 2004. He left office in 2016.
Munford ran for election to the Las Vegas City Council to represent Ward 5 in Nevada. He lost in the general election on March 27, 2018.
Munford is a former Democratic member of the Nevada Assembly, representing District 6 from 2004 to 2016. Munford did not seek re-election to the Nevada State Assembly in 2016.
Biography
Munford received his B.A. in biology and physical education and his M.A. in guidance and counseling and political science from Montana State University. Now retired, his professional experience includes working as a school teacher; he also played basketball for the Los Angeles Lakers.

On November 4, 2008, Munford won re-election to the District 6 Seat in the Nevada Assembly, defeating opponents LisaMarie Johnson (R) and Glenn Brown (Independent American).[9]
