John D. Schwartz was a judge for the United States bankruptcy court, Northern District of Illinois. He was appointed for a fourteen-year term on November 2, 1984.[1] Schwartz passed away in 2011.[2]

Education

Judge Schwartz attended The University of Chicago for a Bachelor of Philosophy in 1952 and the University of Chicago Law School for his Doctor of Law in 1954.[1]

Career

Schwartz was an assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois from 1952 to 1954 and he was the Master-In-Chancery of the Circuit Court of Cook County in 1963.[1]
