Richard Brown appointed to 20th Circuit

Illinois: Associate Judge Richard A. Brown was appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court to fill a vacancy on the 20th Judicial Circuit Court. This position was vacated by Judge William A. Schuwerk, Jr. when he retired. Brown took office on July 14th and is running unopposed for re-election in November of 2010. He has served as an associate judge in Randolph County since 2004 and previously worked as a public defender and a private practice lawyer.[1]
