Governor Schwarzenegger appoints 18 to California's Superior Courts

California: Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger announced 18 appointments on December 16, 2010 in an effort to fill judicial vacancies before the end of his term. Judges were appointed to the Superior Courts throughout the state.
They are:
- Armando G. Cuellar, Jr. and Thomas C. Rogers, appointed to the Superior Court of Alameda County;
- Elizabeth Ufkes Olivera, appointed to the Superior Court of Colusa County;
- Warren C. Stracener, appointed to the Superior Court of El Dorado County;
- Michael Leversen, appointed to the Superior Court of Orange County;
- Jacqueline Jackson, appointed to the Superior Court of Riverside County;
- Tami R. Bogert, Curtis M. Fiorini and Christopher E. Krueger appointed to the Superior Court of Sacramento County;
- Dan Detienne and Richard V. Peel, appointed to the Superior Court of San Bernardino County;
- Michael Begert, appointed to the Superior Court of San Francisco County;
- Brett H. Morgan, appointed to the Superior Court of San Joaquin County;
- Bradford J. DeMeo, appointed to the Superior Court of Sonoma County;
- Stephen W. Berrier, appointed to the Superior Court of Yuna County;
- Dennis A. Peterson, appointed to the Superior Court of Fresno County; and
- Michael S. Groch and Steven E. Stone, appointed to the Superior Court of San Diego County.
All of the appointments are effective immediately.[1]
