The Hawaii Legislative Salary Payments, Amendment 2, also known as Amendment 2, was on the ballot in Hawaii on November 2, 1982, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed, per House Bill No. 238 of the Eleventh Legislature, Regular Session of 1981, that Article III, Section 9 of the Hawaiian constitution be amended to provide that the salaries received by legislators be payable in such installments and at such times as provided by law.[1]
