Small Business Committee, Alabama State Senate (Decommissioned)
The Small Business Committee, formerly known as the Small Business and Economic Committee, was a standing committee of the Alabama State Senate.
Function
The 2014 Alabama Senate rules described the function of this committee as outlined below.
“ | The Committee on Small Business, to which committee shall be referred all bills relating to the creation of small businesses, the maintenance of existing small business, the recruitment of other small business, and the economic development of communities, as well as matters pertaining to real estate. The Committee on Small Business shall not exceed 9 members.[1][2] | ” |
